Weekend

Ah the weekend is here and what am I doing well right now I'm typing, but what should I be doing? That's right you lovely people guessed right.
I should be studing. I have a test on Monday for my Applied Orgainic and Tuesday for my Non-Western Culture Africa class. I get to go and study till my eyes bled. Oh why did I feel that I needed college?
On other subjects I watched Tristan and Isolde. It was a good movie, but very sad. Those of you that are reading my lovly post and have gotten this far. What did you think of the movie and do you feel that you would have made the same choices?
Far well readers. I must be off to study.

Fishing

I went fishing with my dad today. We only caught four fish and lost only one lure. We had three skinny stripers and one little small mouth bass. It was beautiful on the lake. It was the perfect day for fishing.

Rock operas/ musicals

I love the musical Rent. If you haven't seen it go and rent it. Go now drop what you are doing and go. If you are holding a laptop please set the computer down nicely or the computer gods will come and get you. (Its never pretty)
My mom watched with me and loved it. She said it reminded her of the musical Hair. I wasn't supprised that she would love it. My dad also watched and he didn't like it. I knew that he wouldn't. He thought it was weird.
This brought about a disscustion about rock operas/musicals. Mom loves Hair I have never seen it, but I know alot of the songs. I think that may have to go on my list of things to see. She thought that they were similar, because they delt with the issuse of the era. Hair was during the 60's and had war and free love among other issues to approch. Rent was during the 90's and adressed AIDS, poverty, being your self, and drugs.
I did a search for other rock operas/musicals and other popluar ones are Evita, Tommy, Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and many others.

And stuff.

I hate changing seasons. I once agian have a sinus cold going on. grrr.

One of my roomate's boyfriend got his jaw broken the other day and it is now wired shut. I don't think that I could live with my jaw wired shut. I couldn't talk and you know how I feel about that and protein drinks suck they taste
It is predicted that he will loss 10-15 pounds. He is fairly skinny any way I don't think it would be good for him. Well any way.

Inventory Fun.

Sorry about the mix up on the whole talk like a pirate day. What is everyones favorite pirate saying? (lets keep this less than R rated)

Inventory sucks. I spent 4 hours at work counting and scaning inventory. I hope that I wont have to do that for some time. Although the time went by qickly. The computer logged out during are last section. I had ten books left and the computer messed up. We fixed the problem then went home early. Yay.

National Talk Like a Pirate Day

Today is National Talk Like a Pirate Day. Yeay.
I had forgotten what day it was exactly, but it was my mother who brought the whole thing up. She apparently heard it at church. It was the topic of the sermon, I believe. It has been some time since I went to church last, but I would have remmebered if they had brought up something that cool.

And yes the blog is still pink. I have decided to keep it this way for awhile. I have started to be more excepting of the color. I now own a pink shirt. Maybe it is the fact that I have a hot pink shower curtian that I have had to live with. I'm not sure.
I'm going to bed now it is almost 2am. I just got back to my apartment.

Football

Today was the first home game for my school. We lost by 4 points. We should have won. When a third ranked team losses to a 21st ranked team. Oh well at least it was exicting till the end.
In other news it looks like I will have Sept. 23 and 24th off. So I will be able to go to the Ren Fest. That is if we are still going. Well this just in... it looks like we are not going to go. Oh well the All things Scottish sounds interesting.
